Daler Kaur is a Punjabi-Canadian author based in Nova Scotia, Canada. Her background in Child and Youth Studies and Psychology shapes her interest in people, emotions, and the stories carried across generations.
Her debut novel, ਅਧੂਰੇ ਬੋਲ (Adhoore Bol), explores the lasting impact of the 1947 Partition of India and the events of 1984 through themes of identity, belonging, separation, and resilience.
Inspired by stories passed down through her family, Daler writes to preserve memories, honour untold experiences, and connect younger generations with the history that shaped those before them. She believes that some voices deserve to be heard, even decades after they have fallen silent.
